There are many sites out there that offer adult video chat, and Camzey is one that I recently took a deep dive into. I’ve tried many sites in the past like Chaturbate, MyFreeCams, and LiveJasmin.
Here’s what I was looking for — random video chat with hot babes…but it had to be fresh, fun, and affordable.
Would Camzey stand up?
Here’s my honest, in-depth review of Camzey from a viewer’s perspective—covering everything from site features and video quality to model diversity and whether it’s actually worth spending your money on.
Start Chatting with Random People Immediately
As soon as I opened the site, I saw a section to enter your gender, the gender you are looking for, and a slider with age options ranging from 18 to 70. There is also a checkbox that asks if you want to only match with users with cameras. There is also a counter that shows how many people are connected to the site and chatting.
The page is clean and easy to navigate, and you can almost immediately start your video chat experience. Sure enough, as soon as I clicked the button I was immediately met with a naked woman using a toy. However, when I clicked on the video chat I saw “User is in Group Chat.” When I clicked that, it took me to another site where the woman was speaking to other users. Is Camzey just a site that advertises free cam sex and then sends you to another site?
I Tried to Video Chat With a Random Stranger…
At this point, everything I clicked on the Camzey site took me to another site — and they varied. Yes, the original chat partners were on the new sites, but it was definitely more of a similar set up to CamSoda or other similar video chat sites. You have a model, they are performing, and they accept tips to do different acts.
To review – you log into Camzey, and you choose a video. When you click on that video you are taken to a different site with a chat room where other people are chatting with the model. Sound familiar?
At this point, I started looking at Camzey itself. You can watch these videos without interaction on Camzey. If you want to interact with the models, themselves, you need to go to that other site. Again, there wasn’t just one — there were several: Cam4.com, Bongacams.com, LiveJasmin.com, Camsoda, etc.
I also want to say that the Camzey site doesn’t really explain what to do. I really had to kind of figure it out by myself by clicking around. I realized that there are four buttons below the videos, and each of those buttons do a different thing. You can change cams, go to the chat room, remove the buttons from your screen, or go back to the Camzey homescreen.
Model Variety & Quality for Random Video Chat
Basically, all you can do on Camzey is view videos that are streaming on other sites. These aren’t really casual users. They are people trying to make money by collecting tips. Nothing wrong with that, at all, but it’s not actually as “free” as Camzey would like you to think.
Once you are on the other sites that link from Camzey, you can start chatting with the models, but keep in mind that this is not a private chat room. There are other people in there, and they can see your chats. Some of these offer private chat, all of them want tips, and most of them sent private messages to me to welcome me to their stream.
For research, I looked at both male and female cams. There were a lot more women than male performers. Some of the male performers I saw were with other men, which tells me that this is also a gay friendly cam site, too. There were also a lot of couples, women performing together and solo, and even some fetish cams, like BDSM.

Camzey’s interface is easy to use. It’s simple and it has user-friendly features. You can easily switch between cams, and they are all random. This user-friendly interface is convenient. If you see a model you want to watch more of, you can watch right on Camzey, or you can click on the video, and a new tab will open where you can instantly connect in the chat room. Keep in mind that if you watch on Camzey, you cannot chat with that model or meet like-minded individuals.
I didn’t really interact with anyone but the models, but I wasn’t really there to meet people. There were users worldwide on Camzey, and the video screen shows the person’s age and location.
Once you get to the linked sites, you may have to set up an account there, too. For instance, I was transported to LiveJasmin, and after a couple of minutes, it said my free time was up, and I would have to create an account to watch more.
Support is available via email. It may be multi-language support, as there were other languages on the site. It wasn’t easy to find this, however, and sending user feedback is only available by email. There is no chat or phone number that I saw.
Safety, Speed, Audio Quality, and Video Quality
Since you are basically watching streams from other sites, it’s difficult to say if user safety is even something that is considered on this site. Since there is no way to contact the site, other than a random email address, user satisfaction might not be a top priority. There didn’t seem to be any robust security measures or anything, either. Just a video playing on a screen with very little interaction options unless you redirect to another site.
As far as speed goes, I had no problem with that. Internet speed at home is fine, and when I tried on my mobile phone, I didn’t have an issue, either. Audio and video chat worked as expected. However, because there are several people in a chat room, I wasn’t able to get into any engaging conversations until I entered a private chat.
Is Camzey.com a Good Cam Site?
It’s difficult to make a review on a site that isn’t really a site. At the end of the day, cam chats are what they are — I was just looking to get off, and that’s what happened. This didn’t happen on Camzey, however. It was on a site that I was sent to from Camzey.
There are no advanced features, there is no intuitive interface, and no way to have a meaningful interaction. However, you are free to watch like-minded individuals to your heart’s content on Camzey. This makes Camzey, at a basic level, a free video site that is private, allowing users to watch cams.
That’s all it really is, though. There are no essential features, and new users are probably going to be confused about how to use the site. User friendliness doesn’t seem to be a focus. Though from what I could tell, it was a secure environment.
Was it an enjoyable experience? I guess, but that wasn’t really because of Camzey…it’s because I spent a few bucks on another site for a private chat. I trust that those conversations remain private, and those sites also seemed to create a safe environment.
I would recommend Camzey as a way to find a better platform. Camzey lets you view the streams, but that’s it. There are diverse preferences, different cultures, unique features, and new connections available, but you won’t be expanding your social circle or making connections based on common interests. Camzey offers very little to anyone serious about online cams.
